Civic Square Parking Garage, built by the Carmel Redevelopment Commission, is a new 303-space garage. 255 spaces are free public spaces for use by the adjacent businesses and the expanded police station and courthouse. 48 spaces will be private for owner-occupied condos that will line the west and north sides of the garage and be developed as part of a future CRC project.

The garage is the most technologically advanced garage ever built by the CRC, complete with electric vehicle charging stations, a solar canopy interconnected to offset the power consumption in the garage, and security cameras. Further, it has an integrated LED lighting and camera technology that shows drivers where spots are open, and exterior signs that indicate the number of available spots. The garage includes a covered public bike storage and service area. The architecture of the garage is traditional to match the surrounding area, and the façade will feature several murals.

Construction commenced in January 2022 and the garage opened in July 2022.
