The Mezz


The Mezz is a $6 million mixed-use project that consists of two buildings. The Mezz on the Monon is a five-story building that includes 18 residential units and 2,200 square feet of office space. The Mezz on 3rd is a five-story building that includes 24 apartments and 6,528 square feet of first-floor office space.

Future commercial taxes from the project (TIF) were used in part to construct the Tarkington Garage. The Mezz increased the assessed value of the parcels by 948,871%.

This project broke ground in May 2013; the Carmel Redevelopment Commission partnered with Anderson Birkla Investment Partners on the development of this project.
