Indiana Design Center

Indiana Design Center is a $23.9 million development consisting of approximately 82,000 square feet of show rooms and design resources on two levels, and a 109-space free public parking garage. Future commercial taxes from the project (TIF) were used in part to construct the parking garage.

The Indiana Design Center was part of the City’s Master Plan for the redevelopment of Old Town Carmel into the Arts & Design District, which it anchors today. Home to 30+ businesses, the IDC is a regional resource for design professionals.

Construction of the Indiana Design Center commenced in May 2007 and was completed in the summer of 2010; the Carmel Redevelopment Commission partnered with Pedcor Companies on the development of this project.
