Indiana Spine Group I and II


Indiana Spine Group I is a 60,520 square-foot spine hospital that is a destination medical facility providing a unique environment for the comprehensive care of all patients with spinal disorders. This project broke ground in 2008 and was completed in 2010. Indiana Spine Group I increased the assessed value of this parcel by 957%.

Indiana Spine Group II includes a two-story, 47,723 square-foot addition to the Indiana Spine Hospital that broke ground in 2016 and was completed in 2017, as well as a one-story, 19,388 square-foot medical office building that broke ground in 2017 and was completed in 2018. Indiana Spine Group II increased the assessed value of this redevelopment area by 337%.

Future commercial taxes from the project (TIF) were used to construct the streetscape, site work, utility work, and infrastructure improvements.

This project was developed by the Carmel Redevelopment Commission and the Indiana Spine Hospital.
