North End

North End is a $100 million, multi-phase, mixed-use project that will include 388 apartments, 40 owner-occupied condos, 46 owner-occupied townhomes, 10 single-family homes, and 28,125 square feet of retail/office. This project will also include 353 parking spaces in garages located under the buildings. In addition, there will be 5.2 acres to be maintained as green space, native habitat restoration, and an urban garden that will help supply the historic home/future farm to table restaurant.

North End will also feature a 40-unit, mixed-income, family-oriented, integrated affordable housing development for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This project broke ground in the spring of 2021. Future commercial taxes from the project (TIF) is being used to construct road and infrastructure improvements.

The Carmel Redevelopment Commission is partnering with Old Town Companies on the development of this project.
