Franciscan Orthopedic Center of Excellence is a $123 million, 236,231 square-foot project that includes a four-story orthopedic hospital, surgery center, and a two-story medical office building for Franciscan Health and Methodist Sports Medicine.

Part of the future commercial taxes from the project (TIF) were used to finance the 664-space parking garage and sky bridge.

Construction of this project commenced in October 2019 and the building opened in April 2022. The Carmel Redevelopment Commission partnered with Meridian Development Services on this project.
