Lurie Building

The Lurie Building is a $4 million, mixed-use project that includes four for-sale residential units (13,114 square feet), 6,272 square feet of retail space, and 6,702 square feet of office space. This project broke ground in 2006, was completed in 2008, and was one of the first redevelopment projects in the Arts & Design District, meant to set a new standard for architecture and mixed-use living in the area. The Lurie Building was designed to mimic 1920’s Chicago-style architecture utilizing brick and limestone.

The CRC purchased the land and helped to fund the site cleanup, utility relocations, and streetscape.

This project was developed by the Carmel Redevelopment Commission and Stenz Construction Corporation.
