Monon & Main


Monon & Main is a $20 million, mixed-use development that includes a three-story, 12,000 square-foot independent steakhouse and rooftop lounge, a four-story mixed-use building with 35,406 square feet of office space, and 8,000 square feet of ground-level retail space, and seven townhomes. Monon and Main increased the assessed value of this city block by 2,895%.

Future commercial taxes from the project (TIF) were used to fund the design and construction of a 200-space free public parking garage.

This project broke ground in March 2017 and was completed in January 2020; the Carmel Redevelopment Commission partnered with Monon and Main LLC and Charles and Lynn Lazzara on the development of this project.
